Polk or Harman Kardon (1 Viewer)

I'm looking to get some larger floor standing speakers and were wondering the best band for my buck...I have about 1500$ to spend...any ideas?

What do you have for the rest of your speakers? Or are you just talking about 2-channel?

polk audio LSi15's, Bowers and Wilkins 604's, swan 6.2's those are the ones i was looking at.

i would not buy HK for that money. If you are talking infinity vs polk then you can go either way.

RTi15's???? Have you demo'd any Polk speakers. I actually prefered the RTi12's to the 15's myself, but I didn't get to do a side by side, so other factors could have been involved. If it were me, I'd go with the RTi12's...

Man, they are almost as sweet as it gets in that sort of budget. Of course that only gets ya two....

On the Infinity - H/K side, I like Beta 50's better than the much higher priced Prelude MTS.

I like the RTi12's better than the BW's and the Swan 6.2's, to be honest.

hardy har har, the 12's are good and loud but i wouldnt compare them to the B&W or the swans
