Polk Audio 150 ow are they and is voice matching important for rear surround speakers (1 Viewer)

I just upgraded to 7.1 from a 5.1 receiver and need rear surround but the speakers I have now NHT Superzero XU are discontinued :frowning: anyhow I really like the NHT's but their current line are all more than I I'm willing to pay

I'm sure I could go the E-bay route and get some XU's there but I have a policy of not buying used speakers

I'd really like to get 7.1 without having to spring for 7 new speakers

Voice matching is not important for rear surrounds. Re. Polk R150s, I run a 5.1 set up that uses them for front L & R and surround L & R. I drive them with a Sony STR-DG1000. I'm very happy with the SQ of R150s.

Not sure if this goes against your policy but there are a couple of NHT Superzero XU's being sold on Audiogon that are listed as new/closeout for $80 each in white. Just thought you might want to take a peek
