[Roar as sub surfaces][Polar bear looks up in surprise]
Bear:Holy $#!+ that is one huge bear snack!
[Ambles over and tries to eat sub, get metallic taste in mouth]
[Bear becomes angry over the sudden loss of said bear snack, takes out aggression on sub]
Poor bear! He probably thought he had the mother of all seals! Doh!
no wonder they're endangered. They're apparently dumb as a fencepost
Polar bears will attack whales. One of The Blue Planet DVDs shows footage of a bear attacking beluga whales that are trapped by ice. The bears get whales often enough to make it worthwhile.
Ditto on what Julie wrote. Actually for some times in the year, whales are the major food source for these animals. Think aobut it - what the hell else is there?
