Plus Dish with non-Plus Receiver (1 Viewer)

I'm going to install my new Plus oval dish this weekend so I can pickup the slim pickings of DirecTV HD available on my Tosh DST3000.
I have a vague memory of reading somewhere it's a bad idea to hook the twin-LNB setup into a non-Plus receiver. Can someone tell me if that's the case? From the looks of things if that is the case then I should just run the existing line to the non-Plus receiver straight from one of the outputs of the "Sat A" 101 LNB?
Help me so I don't lose consciousness from thinking too hard on while on my roof!

There is no problem running a signal from a Plus dish to a non-Plus receiver. If you DID try to do this, you would cause problems on the DST-3000 because in order to be able to receive ALL channels from both satellites, you MUST run a line from all 4 LNB's to the multiplexer, which is then connected to the receivers.
