Please help....Denon 5800 Zone 2 problems! :( (1 Viewer)

I have been trying for days to get this @#$$@%! zone 2 working on my deck. I have set the multi zone control to zone 2, and have an analog source, what am i doing wrong? I only have one zone 2 speacker wired.. but that should matter. when i hit on ZONE 2, it's set to source, but zone 1 keeps playing! I just dont understand it.

You have to asign the amps right... I'll look at lunch on my 4802... It is in the setup, using the onscreen setup menu.

Actually I see it if the 5800.. Didn't it's zone 2 require external amplification to use???

Ok it does work either way....

So your zone2 menu on the remote. When you select the analog source, it just keeps playing the same as zone 1??????

Make sure REC mode is not lit up on the unit, this makes zone 2 not work right I believe.
