Hi,

In the site link below, you can find pictures of my HT Room project.

The architect wants to install my PSB GOLDi in-wall. How about that? Is that good for acoustics? Also, they are in front of each other, with a good 5m between them.

Can anyone help me out?

Joh,

Yes, building speakers flush into the walls is very good if it's done right. Most professional recording studios have this arrangement. Below is a photo of one such studio.

Ethan knows full well that this has been argued in the past.

While there are some excellent in-walls, I would say that most consumer in-walls are not as good as their out-of-wall counterparts. Some triads or something like that are more of the caliber of studio in-walls.

I didn't really see what was going on in the pictures, and when you say "facing each other" I took that to mean that your speakers would be on opposite walls. Definitely don't do that.
