Please advise on the size lcd 1080p tv I should buy. I watch tv in the 2nd bedroom and the distance from my eyes to the tv is 7 feet or 7.5 feet If I lean back on couch. This is the maxium distance I can get without tearing down a wall. I have a 27 inch crt tv right now and I am torn between a 32 inch or 37 inch lcd tv. A 32 inch seems a little small and the 37 inch seems a little big when I go to best buy to test it out. What is the minimum distance from a 37 inch before it gets distorted. It is difficult to judge seeing the tv in store vs the at home.

you can go to what ever size you wish...up to 60".
I never hear a client say they wish they would have gotten something smaller.

The rule of thumb used and accepted by the original human factors researchers in developing HDTV was a 30 degree viewing angle for a 1920 x 1080i image. That's roughly 3 times the height of the screen. This viewing angle is still used by SMPTE and the ITU for reference viewing conditions. Individual viewers may vary somewhat, depending on visual acuity and personal preference.

Best regards and beautiful pictures,

Pardon my ignorance, but where is there a source for 1440p material?

It would be pretty stunning for computer graphics and games, though!
