So I have a Denon AVR-S960H receiver that I am using for my home theater system. I am a musician that wants to be able to learn new songs by watching youtube and sing along with the songs. I have a small mixing console that I plug my microphone into and the console is plugged into my receiver by using RCA cords. Unfortunately, I have not found a way to play the music from my tv and to be able to sing along at the same time. Is there a way to do this?

You’ll have to send the TV audio to another channel on your mixer, then you can send (and mix) both signals to send back to the AVR. Of course, this will require your TV having an analog audio output. If it doesn’t you will need a digital to analog converter to get the analog signal.
