No, we can't assume there is no bass boost on the MCM plate amps, only on the PE plate amps.
The bass boosted amps have R26=18K ohms, while the fix for non-boost is R26=100K ohms.
For 100K ohms, the resistor color code bar should be Black-Black-Yellow.
For 18K ohms, the resistor color code bar should be Black-Gray-Orange.
with the 4th color being gold/silver/none (denotes tolerance level %5/10%/20% respectively).
