plasma ???

    I had been looking at plasma tv for while now and was just wondering for the cost worth it. how is the quality? Is there a window of time before you start seeing problems with the picture(fading). Are these tv worth the money. I just bought a 57" toshiba rptv and i love it. i just don't want to drop 5g's for a tv that wont last in 6years. any advise please help. THX [​IMG] [​IMG]

    New plasma displays are being rated anywhere from 30-60,000 hours before the brightness is halved. Whether that's true, hype or wishful thinking is still an unknown. I'll get back to you when mine is four or five years older and let you know....it's sure worth it to me at the present [​IMG]

    Unless space is a serious concern, you can do much better, and bigger, for the money.
