I saw a "PANASONIC PT-50PD3 PLASMA PANASONIC PT-50PD3 PLASMA " up for auction at UBID and the bidding price is $3060. This is a 50 inch plasma TV that is brand new. The auction/bid price will likely end with this bid price. The regular price for this plasma TV is $16,000.

    How come they're selling for $3,000 ?

Anything's possible but I doubt that the end bid will be that low. I've shopped ubid before and much like ebay there are plenty of snipers waiting till the last minute to jump in. In the off chance that the end price is that low ubid reserves the right to cancel an auction without notice so they would probably just pull the plug on it at the last minute and try again later hoping for a higher bid.

I can't find that plasma TV on UBID. Has the auction ended? What was the final selling price?

If you noticed, there was a "reserve" set on this auction, which means a minimum price is set but not revealed. If no one bids at least this minimum "reserve", the auction is cancelled.
