Plasma TV / Extreme Altitude Question (1 Viewer)

Hi guys. This is my first post as I have a question about my tv.

I've had my LG 42 inch plasma TV for about 4 months here in Turkey (American sold TV) and it's worked perfect.

I leave next week for a year in Bolivia, at 12,000 feet above sea level.

I know my TV will not work, and I won't even turn it on to find out.

But is that extreme of an elevation ok to just have my tv there with me, even if I don't plan on using it?

I have no option other than to have it sent to me (military).
