I am having trouble watching my 5-year old RPTV on sunny days due to reflection of light off the screen. Do any of the newer technologies handle this problem better than the others? I have 12 large windows (south and west side) in the viewing area and only one suitable wall for the TV (facing south). Any help would be appreciated.

Does your 5 year old RPTV have a protective screen on it?

Most people can 100% or nearly 100% eliminate glare problems by removing the Protective / so called Anti-glare screens.

PS: Plasma seems to handle lots of ambient light the best in my experiences.

Yes it does have a protection screen on it. I'll take it off and see if I get any improvement. Thanks for the advise.
