The only thing that I have heard so far has been that David Prior is producing the dvd.
Since it is Fox we're talking about expect a very nice dvd.
I am hoping that they do include DTS this time, last year
when they released X-Men they dropped it because it effected
    the picture quality.
PLEASE FOX include it , you would make me a happy dvdfan [IMG]
Oh I wanted to add that Fox is releasing this in November.

It took me about 10 minutes to figure out just WHAT you were referring to...
PLEASE include the complete title SOMEWHERE in your post.
POTA = Planet of the Apes, no?
    Thank you.
    This rant ends... here.

The theatrical soundtrack sounded great, very nice elements there ( compared to JPIII, which sound disappointed ).

I'd love to see the alternate endings, and hear a Tim Burton commentary track, but think I'll pass on this DVD. There's just too many other DVD's I want by the end of the year, I'll have to only buy the ones I REALLY want.

Digital Bits lists this as a likely December release. I'm picking it to be a 2 disc release with disc 1 devoted to DTS and DD audio along with an audio commentary or 2. Disc 2 devoted to extras. Here's hoping.
