I have a LCD flat panel TV on top of a buffet. I am using speaker stands for the front left and right speakers. What are my options for the center speaker? The front 3 speakers are identical. I can rest the center on its side in front of the TV. What does everyone else do?

    Thanks!

If you don't have a lot of people sitting to the sides while watching movies: if you want you can program your receiver for "no center channel". Then the center signal will be redirected to the front mains & you won't need a center speaker at all. I did this for almost four years & never had any complaints (though I was lucky to be able to sit right in my Bostons' sweet spot so their phantom center image was located directly in the middle of the TV).

Nothing worse than buying a sexy flat-panel, have it placed on a nice piece of furniture, then having a clunky box squatting between the two.
