Placement for center channel spear on a rptv? (1 Viewer)

Okay, the 43" Hitachi is on the way, but according to the dimensions, there is only about 4-5" of flat surface on which to put the center speaker. I currently have an oak (it matches the ET Center perfectly) Bose 6.2 sitting on top for the center channel. That will never work with the new tv.
What have you done to fit your center speaker into the arrangement?

I don't know what the rest of your room looks like, but I've got my center channel speaker sitting on a stand, in front of the RPTV, under the screen.
This also allowed me to move the L+R main speakers forward, where their front plane is no longer in line with the front plane of the TV... Mucho better imagining in 2ch that way.

I built a shroud which goes over my RPTV and is deep enough and sturdy enough to hold my cc (Paradigm CC-350). When I move into my new HT room, I will take pics and post them on my website.
