hi all -

i read an interesting article from paradigm about pivoting tweeters.

bottom line is they say it isn't a good thing. yet, i see all sorts of manufactuers doing it. so...what's the scoop? anyone here actually install/use speakers with pivoting tweeters?

thx!

Hmmm, maybe it is an expected feature and a selling point, so they put them in.

I think they are good to have in some cases to keep treble out of an area or off a wall.

In ceiling/wall speakers are alredy a compromise at best anyway, because it's very difficult to get great imaging out of them this way, particularly with ceiling speakers. If the tilt is limited to within a certain range, I don't see why it would be a big problem.
