    I currently use this receiver and have a question with my current setup. Since the lowest setting is 100hz is it best to have my main front speakers set to large or small?

    If I were you, I'd let the sub do the low end work instead of those 8" woofers...Set the 811 to SMALL.

    Get this the other day I was in Radio Shack and saw a RCA receiver that was identical to the Pioneer 711/811...that makes me sick......what is going on with that. It makes me want to return my 811....[​IMG]

    well, atleast is says RCA and not Tandy. Then you'd be really pissed.

    The Radioshack reciever is 5.1 while the 811 is 6.1 the 811 probably has more additional features than just the extra channel.
