Can anyone tell me if a Pioneer Big Screen 643-HDS T.V is worth looking into. Costco has one for about $2200?

Absolutely!! Opinions my vary, but I feel Pioneer makes the best RPTV. The only downside to the SD643 is that it has no DVI inputs, which may or may not be a big deal down the road, and it does not accept a 720p signal. Other than that, they are great sets. Absolutely worth the money.

Good widescreen with a great picture for its day. There are better choices now, but you'll find they are more expensive too. No warranty if you get it from Costco? I've had no problems with my 533HD5 in the last two years.

    Pioneer makes a good set.

Warranty problems are a NON issue with Costco / Sams Club...if you have a problem simply return the unit.
