I am trying to purchase a Pioneer service manual for the SD533HD5. I can't find it on the net. Is there some sort of funny part numbering system that I should know of?

Thanks for the link, but I am looking for the service manual to fix overscan and geometery in the service menus. I still have my owner's manual.

    Hanson,

I bought mine over the phone. If memory serves, there was an option I navigated to at their 800 number to order manuals and parts.

    About $65, I think.

    Very cool. Thanks!

Since I had no patience, I bought a membership to Home Theater Spot for $25. One of the calibrators wrote a faq on geometery and convergence for Pioneer RPTV's (which is all I wanted to fool around with -- service menu offsets are just way out of my league).

But if I ever get the itch...
