Will the "standard" MCACC equalize low frequencies? I'm currently using a separate equalizer for my subwoofer, and I'm wondering if I upgrade to 80TXV I can get rid of it. Looks like 80TXV has the non-advanced MCACC.

I haven't utilized the MCACC on my 80TXv, yet. I did have that option on my 54TX, but it would only equalize down to 63Hz. I believe with the 80TXv, it can adjust the lower frequencies to 40Hz.

However, with just calibrating my system via the regular controls - small front speakers, crossover set to 50Hz, distances set and subwoofer calibrated, the sound is pretty amazing. From my previous experience with MCACC, it is kind of amazing what it can do - but, the sound after running the utility isn't for everyone. Some feel that the sound with music can be a bit antiseptic sounding.
