Pioneer Elite VSX35 TX question! (1 Viewer)

Does the Pioneer Elite 35tx do Surround EX Matrix or Discrete. So If I put an EX Disc into my DVD and I turn on the EX mode does it play MAtrix EX mode and If you dont have a back channel and you play a EX dvd with the EX mode turned on the receiver will it give me any sound difference. Thanks

I'm guessing you mean ES, as in DTS-ES instead of EX. Anyway, the *current* Elite line (I have a VSX-39TX) does matrix the rear channel. No discreet till the new fall 2001 models are released.
