I bought this a/v rec last year I just got all my speakers hook everything up I used pioneer macc I get test noise from all my speakers but when I play a dvd or a cd I hear sound from all my speakers except from the left rear. As any one had this happen to them and what makes it happen

Unfortunately I have yet to get the full 7.1 surround. But I was having problems with the surrounds, until I switched my DVD from R/L to Dolby Digital and Dolby Surround.
