I have a Pioneer Elite Stereo Amplifier: model (A-35R) that i got from my aunt that i dont know anything about. It is in good working order and has some ware and tare scuffs on it. I really have no use for it and would like to sell it but i dont know anything about it. I was trying to find out some specs on it, also a good asking price for it. If anyone has any iinformation about it please let me know. Also if anyone want to buy it just let me know.

I have every Audio Magazine Annual Equipment Directory betweeh 1986 and 1999, and that model not listed. However, I did find one here. It appears to be a fairly basic model.

This is one of the biggest audio bargains out there. It's still in Pioneer Elite's lineup. Go to head-fi.org and do a search there....plenty of information there as the A-35R gets great notices both as a speaker amp and a headphone amp.

On Pioneer's site: A-35R integrated amplifier

Hey Charlie, IMO this is a really nice piece of gear and unless you REALLY don't have a use for it, I would hold onto it. It has lots of inputs and MP3 players and dvd players can be hooked up to it. While I love surround sound myself, movies can also be enjoyable to hear in old-skool stereo - you just won't have the planes flying *over* your head.

And while the amp has "only" 45 watts per channel, trust me, that much power (this is a more potent amp than the typical receiver amp) played through almost any modern speaker short of one with a 15" woofer can provide volume levels loud enough to drown out a normal conversation in a bedroom or the typical living room.

And most subwoofers can also be used with it via their speaker-level input, despite the Pioneer's lack of a subwoofer "preout".
