Pioneer Elite Receivers and Subwoofer Inquiries (1 Viewer)

I recently moved into a new home that is already wired and installed with speakers throughout the home. The company that installed the system is right down the road and all I need is the receiver and subwoofer set up. I called and they said the quote for the house for a Pioneer Elite Receiver, the 12'' Subwoofer and networking the system is at $1400 and some change. The way the house is set up is the 5.1 Channel would be controlled through Zone 1 and the rest of the speakers in the house and outside would be in Zone 2. Can someone tell me whether it would actually cost this much or if they are overpricing the whole set up and components? Thanks.

Depends on what receiver and subwoofer. If that is an SC65 with a Def Tech SuperCube Reference...you better run to the nearest ATM.
