    Hi,

I'm getting a pioneer elite 53inch and has some qesutions for those that own the set already. 1. How good is it with videogames in regards to burn-in? 2. What's the life expectency before something needs to be fixed? I'd like to know because most liekly i will be purchasing an extended warranty with.

BTW. This set has the best picture I have seen on any RPTV.

With respect to video games and burn-in, the Pioneer is no different than any other brand. Most widescreen RPTV manufacturers suggest you either do not play games on it or at least limit it. The Pioneer's variable gray bars help reduce 4:3 burn-in better than most sets. The owner's manual addresses this specifically. You can find a 510 manual on-line in a number of places.
