I have a Pioneer Elite VSX35TX receiver. I want to get a 6.1 setup and Iam getting the Avr35 Pionner Elite Amp to power up my rear channel, Is this a good investment or shouls I just get a new reciever with 6.1 already in the reciever. I just got the Pionner 35tx lastweek for 450, and the Pioneer amp is $150 should I get this or get another reciever that does 6.1 or should I upgrade to 6.1 at all. Thnaks

As an owner of the 36TX, I know what is going through your mind. I ended up picking up a Rotel 2-ch amp for the back two channels since I had two speakers for the back already anyways. I absolutely love it. If you have the speakers already that you want to use, go for it. Just make sure that the amp in the A35R is large enough for your current and future needs possibly in driving those back speakers.
