The Pioneer 64" Pro 730HD is floor demo (all warranties and return policies still valid) at a mid-end HT store, selling for $4500. It hasn't been on the floor more than 4 mos, and almost always with widescreen images (no sidebars).

The Sony 65" KP65WV600 is brand new in the box, same store, $3300.

I have some leaning and opinions, but I'm very interested in what the more experienced among you thought--especially if you bought or nearly bought either of these TVs.

    Any insight appreciated, as always!

A careful reading of posts and threads here reveals an almost pop-up "rule": best not to buy floor models. (Bad choice. Run searches.)

Scary...I was just searching when your message arrived, Jack. Next time I'll search BEFORE I post. Apologies all around.
