    *edit* widescreen review has the release...quote "The VSX-49TX receiver will be available in October 2001 at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $4,200 and the VSX-47TX receiver will also be available in October 2001 at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $3,000." end-quote
    Even the street price will probably be too high. Is that outrageous or what!

    Bjorn's will carry it here in San Antonio. I asked them how much it will be. They told me $3,500 for the 49TX.
