About a couple years back, s group of manufacturers, Denon included, Yamaha excluded, agreed upon fire-wire cable usage protocol so each unit can be linked easily with one another. Whether this is the i-link what they are talking about, I don't know.

Well I went to my local and only Pioneer Elite dealer to see what he knew of a new Pioneer DVD player other than the 47Ai.

He either knew absolutely nothing about it or was real good at playing stupid not sure which.
