I am wondering if anybody has any comments on Pioneer dv59AVi, especially its features of HDMI, DVI, i-link and upscale DVD to 720p/1080i.

Can anyone explain the similariy and difference between HDMI and DVI?

HDMI is essentially DVI + digital audio on one connection. HDMI o DVI adapters and cables are available and it's a direct pin-to-pin conversion so you shouldn't lose any PQ, you just lose audio which you'd probably be using optical, digital coax, or firewire for anyway.

    Hope this helps [IMG]
