    Hi
I have the Pioneer DV525 player for nearly 4 years now. I am happy with this player but lately after an hour or so playing the DVD movie I get distorted image blocks. Any ideas? I did clean the laser but the problem is still there. Is it time for a new player?

Might be the age of your player. On the other hand, could of been fingerprints on the disc. Happened to me the other day, cleaned the disc, normal picture.

Thanks guys for the info but I should have mentioned that this is happening mainly with copied DVDs only.
