I’ve got a weird thing going on with my new 563A. I have a Panasonic DMRHS2 at work, and I’ve made several discs to view at home – and recorded them at two different ‘speeds’ (compression rates), to fit the material on a DVD-R.
Without fail, whenever I play a disc that’s recorded at the ‘highest quality’ rate (XP), the audio is delayed, falling behind the video. Discs recorded at the next rate down (SP) play just fine. I haven’t tried any lower rates.
Is this some weird foible of the VR recording scheme, the Panasonic, or is this a problem with the 563A?
Is this something I can solve with some internal setting adjustment on the Panasonic or the Pioneer?
Anyone have any experience with this kind of problem/ these units?
