Do you run your video sources through the receiver & then to your tv.....or do you run them straight to the tv? Is there any degradation using the reciever? Is there any audio/video sync problems.....either way?

I ran my DVD and HTPC thru the 45TX and there was no degration or lipsync problems. If I would not need the receiver to switch those two components for me I would not use that capability.

There iss NO degradation in video quality.

Right now I have the cable video going through the receiver.

That means the receiver has to be on even when were not using it - just the kids watching cartoons.

So, when I set it up in my new room, I'm going to have both ways where it will run through the receiver and also just be able to be off when I don't want it on.

I haven't really decided how to hook it up when I get my plasma tv.

In the two and a half months I've had the 45, I have not seen any video degredation or lip-sync problems.I run video from a DTV1080 and DV-45A through it to an Elite 710 RPTV, and find pq to be outstanding.
