Does anyone know why the Pioneer 1000HDI, which does not have a tuner or speakers, costs more than the 1110HD which has both a tuner and speakers? The displays look the same to me.

Thanks,

George

I don't know where you're looking george, but the 1000 should be 500 less than the 1110. (roughly, depends on the dealer)

Joe:

Looking at the Pioner website, the MSRP for the 1000 is $17,500 and for the 1110 it's $15,500. I assumed (maybe incorrectly) that dealers would maintain the same relative price structure. Am I wrong about that?

Thanks,

George

Yeah, Pioneer's MSRPs are typically pretty out of "whack". I trust your report on the site, so I'm sure they're just out of date is all.

Depending on how many points the dealer is doing, right now you're probably looking at $9,499 on the 1110 and $6,999 on the 910, roughly.
