pioneer 1015 at best buy (1 Viewer)

hey all,

just wondering why best buy canada doesnt have the 1014 or the 1015? the US site has the 1015. do you think it'll be there anytime soon?

i think its because the states gets everything first. I mean the american site offers some Athena speakers (including the new ones) and the canadian site does not have the. (Even tho they are made in canada)
Should be up there soon enough is my best guess.
Any major improvements over the 1014? I have the 1014 and its wicked.

The 1014 was a stock item at Best Buy since before Christmas, but this is the lull before the new stuff.

Went to my local BB yesterday, they have the 1014 on clearance and no 1015's on the shelf...

I picked up a open box 1014 ($629) from the New Westminster BC Best Buy yesterday. They dont have 1015 either.

Yeah, you wish the Athena's were Made in Canada - try another country a few thousand miles East that begins with 'C'

West Coast has had 1015's for about a month.

I think BB is doing the classic "clear out the old stock first" method. The 1015 is available on their website, but when I check my local stores, the nearest one that has it is about 20 miles away (there are four others that are closer and all are out of stock). In L.A. 20 miles = 1 hour of driving, so I'm just going to play the waiting game...

I was at Vision's in Wpg yesterday and they had the 1015 in stock for $699. Within a minute the salesman had dropped the price to $613. I would have picked it up, but I need to sell my Kenwood first.
