My fave DVD recently is the great SE of "Carrie" - which has a sparkling score by Pino Donaggio - I would venture to call it a classic of its kind. Mr. Donaggio went on to do another excellent score for "Dressed To Kill" and then other, admittedly lesser scores for "Blow Out", "Body Double", etc.
But has he done good work for anyone other than DePalma? And, if so, what films? I just find it a little odd that he never achieved any type of acclaim (at least to my knowledge) outside of DePalma's films. Thanks.
