pinnacle studio 8 will nor load (1 Viewer)

I purchased the dazzle dvc80 a couple months ago and when I installed the software disc into my cd-rom drive nothing happens.
I exchanged it this weekend for a new one and still nothing happens.
Even when I try to do it manually it wont work.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I've tried pinnacle's support site and they were no help.
