I thought I would post a link to some pictures of the speaker project I've been working on. The cabinets are not quite finished yet but the stands are only lacking a final coat or two of tung oil.

I would love to hear any comments you have good or bad.

i am not a big fan of rosewood, but it looks like you did an amazing job. Do you notice any imperfections or blemishes that don't show in the pics?

Also what kinda hardware are you putting in those?

Thanks for the complement. I'm very happy with the way the rosewood veneer has turned out. I've seen pictures of some of the work you've done and have been very impressed.

I was able to get the speakers finished this weekend and they look and sound wonderful. My father was over at my house and has decided that he is going to build a pair as well. I have to add that the designer, Ed Frias, has done an excellent job designing this speaker. The fact that the plans are available for free is a nice bonus as well.

As far as the rosewood veneer is concerned the quality has been top notch. I have not found any imperfections in the rosewood at all. I did pay a good bit for the veneer so that may have helped ensure the high quality. BTW the veneer is a 4 layer veneer called SanPly-4 from a company named Jacaranda.
