Howdy,

Since upgrading to the Panasonic AE-500 projector; Ive just been projecting onto a light yellow screen which I have been very happy with.

I have since decided to upgrade it to a matt white finish on the wall with a black border.

Ive just finished doing the wall. I took a pic with it half & half. Just to show the diffrence... very cool

How do you find the contrast (blacks) at that size?

Very nice. Have to tried a light gray colored screen? You may want to. I have the Panny 200u and black levels are significantly increased with colors still vibrant. Much better then the 2 different white screens I used previously.

Why not paint the entire area around the screen black too!

I second the gray screen and also second painting the front wall flat black. I just completed mine a month ago.
