Skoda is actually owned by Volkswagen AG. Their new Superb is really sweet looking and is based off of the Audi/Passat B5 platform.

Skoda is owned by VW/Audi Group (VWAG) and makes production cars based on all the VW and Audi platforms you see running around today.
