Picture Quality of 2002 Toshiba HDTVs VS 2001 models? (1 Viewer)

Has there been any noticeable improvement in picture quality over the 2001 Tosh HDTVs? Can anyone give me a hands on opinion?

There is a significant improvement over the previous generation, especially in the 16:9 sets. I have no idea whether this is due to improved optics, better CRTs or improved line doubling. But, IMHO, there is no question that the new series looks better.
