Hi all,
I am using a Benq PB6100 projector with a Sony NS50P DVD player, and connecting using a Python 25' component video cable. The Benq uses a VGA type connector for YPbPr. I have always noticed slight snowy white dots in darker areas of the picture. I can see the dots if I come very close to the screen. I am trying to get the best picture quality as possible. I have heard that cable quality makes a lot of difference in the picture snow. Can anyone suggest me if it is worth spending a couple of hunderd dollars to get a Monster cable, which claims to eliminate the snow and picture artifacts. Thank you all in advance.
Regards,
R

Not that Monster Cable is bad but it is overpriced and I think Noel Lee is a deadbeat. Your money would be better spent on cables from Blue Jeans or similar vendor, which is just high quality RG6 with appropriate connectors.
