Well I just completed the center and surrounds of the Audax HT system designed by Joe D. I haven't had a chance yet to mount the surrounds, so I'm only running the front 3 channels at the moment. I also really haven't had a chance to give them a good listen with the new baby in the house. SO no reports yet on how they sound.
I also have a pair of Tempests awaiting a trip up into the attic for my I.B. subwoofer attempt.
Anyway, here are the pics...They are finished in black gloss Formica.

How hard is it to do the formica?

You should enjoy that tweeter, I'm using it in the Adire 281 kit.

Awesome looking speakers Brian!! How was it working with that formica? Could the novice work with it to some degree of success?

Yeah I know. I am using it in the Audax mains I built several months ago.. seen here
Formica isn't that difficult as a rule, but...The thin black gloss is a PITA to get flat.

Patrick, a sharp flush trim bit and a fine file gets the edges quite smooth.

That center looks very familiar,the Aerial center speaker has that lay out I think,but not the shiny finnish.
