I know we did this last time around, and I thought I'd get it started for the new one. Fifteen people pick a Survivor for bragging rights at the end of the show.

Diane Ogden--Mail carrier
Ethan Zohn--Professional soccer goalie
Jessie Camacho--Deputy sheriff
Clarence Black--High school basketball coach
Kim Johnson--Retired schoolteacher
Kelly Goldsmith--Behavioral research analyst
Lex van den Berghe--Marketing manager
Tom Buchanan--Goat and cattle farmer
Obviously one of these people are already gone, but if you him or her, you should know better.
I'll pick Kim Powers. She "sparked" the idea to get the fire started, seems to be a team player based on the limited information, and looks to be competitive in physical challenges. Being cute to boot doesn't hurt either.

After one show, I still have no idea who I'm "rooting" for.
But once again, they did well in their casting to cause some friction in upcoming shows.
Wait...I've changed my mind, I'm going to root for Kim Powers until she proves me wrong.

I vote for Kim, partly because of the telescope lens fire thing. She is obviously smart and resourceful which will take her a long way. It is too early to tell about physical endurance. It is all about mental and physical endurance (not just physical strength).

I'm split between Kim and Ethan, so I will go with Kim. I just get this feeling that Ethan's tribe is going to self-destruct before they get to the merger and go in at least one man down.
My picks for the three least likely (besides Diane) to win are Clarence, Frank, and Tom. Even if they made it to the final two, they were so annoying (in such a transparent way) that I could not imagine anyone voting for them.

All the good ones are taken: I had Rodger last season and I liked the guy, so I was going to pick Hillbilly Tom, but he is waaay too obnoxious and I suspect not very bright.
I'll go with Ethan, but I thinl collectivly that tribe is not very smart and will dwindle pretty quick.

Kelly will be one to watch as well (I wonder how "under the radar" she'll try to fly to get to the combined tribes). But sometimes theory and reality clash, and Survivor may bare this out.

FYI, for those that didn't play last time, once a Survivor has been "picked", they're out of the pool for the remaining players. I think I've seen a couple of people picked twice already...

I'll take Brandon, for the following reasons:
1. I know first hand how manipulative young gay guys can be.

2. Though he's a bit effeminate for my personal taste, he is cute.

3. If he wins and gets interviewed by Richard Hatch for ET, I wager that Richard blatantly flirts with him during the interview. That I would like to see.

Well I had Kim Powers picked a week ago. She had my vote the minute I saw her picture on CBS's website. Then last night seeing her come through with that genius idea of using the telescope lens for the fire just solidified her place as the Ultimate Survivor in my mind. (Besides, I think she's the cutest one!)
But since she's already taken and out of the pool (I'll get you for this Mark...if it's the last thing I do...) I'm going to have to pick.....................ummm............Diane.... .....no, wait.......ummmmmmm..................mmmmmmmm..... ......oh who hasn't been picked yet, but isn't a total looser.........Clarence.....no, looser.................ok I've got it.....................Teresa (but I still think it's going to be Kim P.)
