Looks like Wal-Mart might be carrying both the fullframe and widescreen versions of the Episode 2 DVD. The pic is kind of blurry but it looks like the widescreen versions are on the top row with the fullscreen versions on the next row. heres a link to the pic.http://www.theforce.net/episode2/new...ay_walmart.jpg

What...no Star Wars donuts? The trading card set might be worth the pre order. I'm gonna have to check that out after it's set up.

I too, am intrigued by the cupcakes.

Seriously though. It's up to each store to fill the standee, isn't it? They can still choose to order 90% PS/10 % WS (or whatever the figure for the individual store might be). There's no label on the sandee for WS/PS.

    And what's a PRN machine?

Lookin' good. I'm not sure if Wally World will fill it to capacity with Episode II DVDs though. It may become home to the shelf warmer that is a Full Screen Phantom Menace.

Around here (3 stores closest to me), the PRNs have not worked for close to a year now. They all either have a sign on them stating they are out of order or they flat out don't work when you try to scan something.
As for my local Wally-World stocking their DVDs, it is about a 95-5% ratio here in favor of P&S. If they get 200 copies of Episode II, only about 10 or 12 will be OAR while the rest are P&S.
Stiffler's Mom: The Pan and scan DVDs are out back.
Finch: Pan and scan is what the cretins watch. I'm talking about OAR, the good stuff.

I personally buy most of my discs at Wal-mart. Especially when it is a dual P&S and Widescreen release. Hoping in some small way to tell Wal-Mart that there are people who seek widescreen. My Wal-Mart carries quite a few widescreen copies of everything, but not nearly as many as the P&S. The one good thing though, is the main lady in electronics is a big widescreen fan. I've heard her trying to convert people over. There is hope.

Thanks, Tony. Working 16 hour days and sleeping about 4 hours a night is getting to me a bit. I changed it to read correctly.

Joe - No, but it is based on a bit of a conversation between Finch and Stiffler's mom concerning alcohol.
