Pi speakers: has anyone built them? (1 Viewer)

I've been reading about these at www.audioasylum.com in the dedicated 'Pi speakers' section. They seem like an inexpensive, yet interesting project.
I had the good fortune of hearing some of the 'four pi' speakers at a local store, and they sound spectacular.
I was wondering if anyone at HTF has had experience with these. Please post if you have, or if you've heard about pi!

i have a friend that built some similar to that, and he's VERY happy with them. i think he spent around $2k to build them. if you want more info, i can ask him.
