OK, now that "photographing fairies" has been on TV again (last night at 9 on SciFi), what did you all think about it? i asked what others thought a few months ago, but nobody else had seen it and it is not for rent yet.

i thought it was _really_ good for a made-for-TV movie, almost film-noirish.

I agree. It was a good made-for-TV movie. Personally, I think that the flower made him go on some kind of an acid trip, and all the people who kept falling out of the tree annoyed me at times, but nonetheless it kept me entertained for two hours.

...don't think it was made for TV. It was in arthouse-type Theaters in '97

FairyTale: A True Story, also from 1997, is set around this same bit of history. I have the LD and prefer it to Photographing Fairies.
Saw some of the actual photos the girls took at a museum in Austin recently.
