I'm looking at the Philip's 60PP9352 or the Toshiba 57H82 and am looking for some input. They seem comparable, but I'm not familiar with the specifics between them. I've read some stuff about a white line during bright scenes on the Toshiba. I also saw that the max resolution is listed in the specs as 720p rather than the 1080i of the others I was initially looking at (and most of the displays I've seen). Is this right?
a quick update to my original question... WHat happens when I throw the Hitachi 57UWX20B into the mix? Im hearing nice things about thsi set (though I'd have to go to Circuit City to get it... I'm still not over that whole Divx thing. [IMG] )
All things being equal, I'd probably prefer to go with the Toshiba, because I think the black case would be more aesthetically pleasing, but, needless to say, I'm not going to make a purchase based on it.
    Thanks for any input...
    Mick

I'd go with the Tosh over the Philips, but I'm a happy Tosh owner myself so I'm biased! [IMG]
The Tosh will give you 1080i. It will also accept a 720p signal.
