I'm FINALLY in the market for a Widescreen Rear Projection TV....can get a SMOKIN deal on one of these, but just wanted some opinions on it before we start down the path.

In particular, I want to be able to use the 15 pin RGB port on the back for a PC input. Can't find anything stating that this can, or cannot be done.

I'm sure video quality is excellent, but are there any GOTCHAS on these Philips TVs? The web has minimal info/reviews that I can find.

    hi Trenton,
    I missed your post, sorry

Im not familar with this model. But in general...

Philips are the same as Marantz

Yes you can hook up a PC

Convergence is a bitch and really more of a crap shoot then anything.

Thanks Gregg. It looks like it will only do 800x600 mode with a PC hooked up, but I may be able to get a unit to convert to 1080i via an adapter.

    How's the calibration business going?
